Dasho Paljor J. Dorji is the founder of the Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN), the first homegrown environmental NGO in Bhutan. Dorji was also instrumental in establishing the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation, the first international environmental trust fund of its kind. Dasho remains a staunch believer in environmental conservation for the benefit of Bhutan and the world at large. He is currently a special advisor to the National Environment Commission. He has also been appointed as the founding President of the Bhutan Ecological Society.
